HIT OR FLOP: Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, Ladies Special, Kundali Bhagya, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai?
I shall meet you next on May 23, Lok Sabha Polls Result Day. Till then, here's what happened in the TV world in Week 19 of 2019
Week 19 has Ekta Kapoor's Kumkum Bhagya retaining Numero Uno. Kundali Bhagya sticks to its elder brother at No 2, an improvement from last week's slot of No 3. Erica Fernandes-Parth Samthaan starrer Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 from the TV Czarina's stable, climbs up; the entry of Mr Bajaj is widely awaited.
Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala has also shot up, it goes from 5 to 4. Mohit Malik is doing a wonderful job in the centre. Naagin 3 has slipped quite a bit- from 2 to 5. A bit of concern for Ekta, maybe. But knowing her, she won't take long to prop it up once again. Rajan Shahi also has a bit of work to do- Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has dwindled a bit; it's at No 8 which is 2 spots lower than Week 18. Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan, are you listening? Come on, bounce back!

Super Dancer 3, Tujhse Hai Raabta and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah remain static on 7, 9 and 10- no change in the last 7 days. Surely disappointing for its makers. Super Dancer 3, I think, has lot its fizz, primarily because it has been stretched, err, dragged. Anurag Basu is back on the show and I wonder if he agrees with me.
Now that Asit Modi will be back from his London holiday in a day or two, we want him to take the final call on Disha Vakani. We had told you few days ago that she has connected with the show's team and wants to get back. If the talks are still failing, Asit should go in for a new Dayaben.
